8x10 inch acrylic on canvas original. Painting 26/30 for the #lukefor30 challenge. Inspired by a beautiful image capture by the talented Sarah Lee of Alison Teal aka "The Female Indiana Jones".
I recently came across this image and loved the colors that naturally blended together which inspired me to paint. Finding stories of Alison and images by Sarah, capturing her travels blew me away when it came to pressing climate issues. The combo of these 2 amazing women speak volumes to adults and children of all ages - inspired by their sheer passion to raise concerns of plastic pollution destroying our precious earth. I love the direction in which Alison is pointing our attention to and I hope we all find a way to contribute to saving our planet.

#LukeFor30 was a project that started in January 2017 as a way of being able to engage with my friends and followers on Instagram. I also aimed to highlight different photographers who have inspired my artistic and creative journey. This project was initially something meant to be a fun little thing, but actually turned into something big and amazing. Upon completing the remaining paintings, I'll start various new projects that come from my heart and soul to create a voice for nature and our ocean. Until then, let's keep the good times rolling⚡️
